Best Black Friday 4K TV deals 2019

UK deals
Let's begin in the UK, where our deals elves have been busy running around and finding the best prices on the most sought-after TVs of the season. Let's get right into it!

A 55-inch OLED for less than £1000
This Philips 55-inch OLED at £989 is the best Black Friday TV deal so far. The 754 OLED was released earlier this year for £1499, and for Black Friday it now costs £989 at both Amazon and AO. It's rare to see a current-gen OLED for just three figures, especially one so fully-featured as the Philips 754. It uses the same OLED panel as the LG B9 which costs £100 more, so you can expect gorgeous colour reproduction, especially in HDR, plus nearly infinite contrast thanks to the perfect blacks possible with OLED tech. The 55OLED754 is also a good choice for gaming, with reasonable input lag (30ms), nearly instantaneous pixel response times and superb motion handling. We've gone into more detail about why we like this deal so much

c9
Up to £200 off the best 4K TVs for gaming: LG B9 and C9 OLEDs
The LG B9 and C9 OLEDs are the best TV for HDR gaming on the market, thanks to their extremely low input lag, near-infinite contrast, strong motion handling and gorgeous colour reproduction. Plenty of us at Digital Foundry have picked up an LG OLED over the past few years, thanks to the nearly universal they've garnered.
What's the difference between the two models? Well, compared to the C9, the B9 has an older processor and lacks the G-Sync Compatible certification of the more expensive model, but uses the same panel and comes with the same future-proof HDMI 2.1 ports, making it a great value for money choice.
You can get these sets from John Lewis, for their five year warranty, or from Amazon, both at the same price. We recommend the 55-inch models, as these offer the best value for money, but the 65-inch sets are even more outstanding if your budget will stretch that far. We'll keep an eye out for any further price drops and update this article (and our @digitalfoundry Twitter feed) accordingly.

ag8
£500 off the Sony Bravia Bravia AG8 OLED
The Sony AG8 is another great choice OLED, with perfect blacks, nearly instant response time and truly outstanding motion handling. The smart TV functionality was also recently upgraded to Android 8, making for a smoother experience. The AG8 is a great alternative to the LG OLEDs, although it does lack the future-proof HDMI 2.1 ports of the LG sets.

panasonic
£200 off the best Panasonic OLED
Panasonic's most recent OLED, the GZ950B, has also been discounted for Black Friday. The TV has been reduced £200 from its pre-Black-Friday price, putting it in direct competition with the Sony AG8 and LG C9. The Panasonic comes with HDR10+ capabilities, something the LG set lacks, but HDMI 2.1 isn't included so future consoles and graphics cards may not work to their fullest extent with the TV. The GZ950B also has much better speakers than its rivals, so it could be a good choice if you don't plan to use a surround speaker system or a sound bar.

q60r
Up to £100 off the best QLED TV for gaming: Samsung Q60R
The Samsung Q60 is a great TV for gaming, thanks to its extremely low input lag in game mode, a wide colour gamut and excellent motion handling. It supports FreeSync too, which works to smooth out irregular frame-rates below 60fps while minimising input lag and judder on both Xbox One and PC. However, its viewing angles are a little limited, making it best used by a small group rather than a whole room.
