Basically, if it's got even the hint of a reanimated corpse or spooky scary skeleton then you'll probably find it on offer. That does mean the definition of a horror game has been stretched just a little!
Resident Evil 2? That's fine. Doom? Sure thing - and it's at a lovely price too. Life is Strange 2? Well, that gets a suspicious look from me. Outside of some questionable inclusions, though, there are some good deals to be had. Others you might want to grab elsewhere if you don't mind physical versions instead.
Take Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5. Both are excellent games and in this PSN Halloween sale for £24.99, but we've spotted them for under £20 right now at a few other retailers. Same for Metro Exodus, which is slightly cheaper at £24.99 on PS4 and Xbox One from Amazon UK.
